Commanders Letter May 2019

MAY 2019

I would like to Express my Gratitude to the Membership of Amvets Post 81. To have been a part of the Events and Accomplishments you have Created for Veterans and their Families this past year has been Incredible! I truly believe You have made us the Proudest Veterans Organization in our Area.

Elections of Post Officers are an important Event this month. Please attend your Meetings and Vote!

May 4th is District VI Elections at Post 60 in Arcadia

I Will always Highlight our Volunteers every month! You are the reason we are successful! Without you we cannot plan so many meals and activities. The Veterans and Membership you serve appreciate the Time and Effort you Donate to them. Last month was no exception, on top of your regular meals you also contributed your Time, Talents and Money to our Building Fund Event and Congratulations to Dave, Barb and Everyone who support them for their first Amvet Family Event, that was an Important and Successful Cause for Veteran Suicide Prevention. If you have an Event you would be willing to “Lead” please talk with your Leadership

The Veterans of Amvets Post 81 is our Foundation!

Many of us are also proud members of other Veterans Organization, but our Aims and Proposes have the same goals, to Promote the Interests of our Veterans and their Families!

AMVETS Mission Statement: To enhance and safeguard the entitlements for all American Veterans who have served honorably and to improve the quality of life for them, their families, and the communities where they live through leadership, advocacy and services.

Honor Guard 81 continues to Impress us with their Pride and Professionalism, which they carry out to Community Events. Watching their Effect at Public Events is Equally Inspiring. Their Invitations and Events are also expanding every month, So Please Join or show your support.

God Bless our Troops,

Commander Kevin Butwill
